Schon sehr beeindruckend…

Up your photography game, and download EyeEm today! Tap into a whole new world of photography with EyeEm, and up your photography game.

We reinvent the way brands and agencies license authentic, royalty-free images and share all revenue with the creators.

We regularly bring new updates to the App Store, with bug fixes and performance improvements to make EyeEm better for you! Share your photos with your community.

We have become obsessed with photography. We constantly brag about photos we have on market, on premium. The only complaint I have, and it maybe user error, is when a release is needed, be it a model or property, and either it is actually not needed, not possible to get one due to death or no owner or public property, or other mistake.

Other than that this has become my favorite pastime app and find myself spending more time on this app than any others. I also find myself looking at all the beauty around me I normally take for granted.

This app is exactly what I wanted Instagram for without the Facebook connection that ruined it. Sharing photos for the photos and not to socialize as much.

The only addition I would like to see is the Direct Messaging feature to socialize with photographers and get advice.

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices. Description Turn your inspiration into money with EyeEm Join a community of over 20 million creators around the globe.

Welcome to an all new Discover feed! Your hub for creativity and inspiration from the EyeEm community Shiny new look: But really, the number of apps wanting to interrupt whatever I'm doing with notifications has gotten out of hand.

I guess it only makes sense for this kind of communications-oriented app, however. After this, the simple interface had one green bar button saying, "Find Friends.

Simply hitting the gray Follow button next to the username got me going. I only had one friend on each using the app, though I have over a thousand contacts between the two social networks, so I guess EyeEm has yet to overthrow Instagram.

Interface Next to the big camera icon at bottom center are just two choices—Friends and Discover—making Instagram's five buttons along the bottom seem positively cluttered by comparison.

The Friends view looks familiar to those who've used Instagram and Flickr. Thankfully, though, the images aren't restricted to the squares that Instagram's are.

I also liked that you can view the photos on EyeEm full screen, but some photos in the feed view had too many comments below, spoiling the visual journey of browser the photo stream.

Instagram limits the number of comments displayed. One annoyance that EyeEm shares with Facebook is that, by default, it shares all your "likes" to your Facebook timeline.

So don't start out the gate liking photos that you wouldn't want everyone in your Facebook sharing circles to know about. I guess the services see this as a way of promoting their apps.

At least EyeEm lets you change this setting in the Web interface, where Instagram makes you burrow through settings menus on the phone.

Soon after creating an account, notifications of new people following me started arriving on my iPhone—even though my only uploaded photo was of the keyboard I'm typing this on!

As with Instagram, when you check out another EyeEm user's page, numbers across the top tell you how many photos they've shared, how many followers they have, and how many users they're following.

Tapping on a number takes you to the list of users in the group, any of which you can view the photos of or start following yourself right away.

One thing I wish both services had was an indication of how many photos the user has uploaded in this list, which would save you from viewing a lot of profiles of users who haven't uploaded any.

Shooting with EyeEm EyeEm really adds nothing to the iPhone camera app, and in fact even dumbs it down a bit—there's no zoom, HDR, or panorama choices.

Instagram very impressively lets you see filter and border effects even while your shooting, something EyeEm hasn't mastered yet. You're encouraged to apply one of the 13 well-chosen enhancement filters by simply swiping left and right over the image, and to overlay a border choice by swiping up and down.

If you want the Instagram square aspect ratio, a scissors icon lets you choose the crop. But EyeEm lacks another one of Instagram's cooler capabilities—selective focus and tilt-shift.

Describing Another differentiator from Instagram is it suggests tags for your images. My test photo of a coffee cup prompted the suggestion "Hanging out," which I suppose wasn't too far off the mark.

And how about other platforms — have you tried tadaa? Well here we are 3 weeks later, I'm still unimpressed by the UI of Eyeem, and the fact that tagging is "forced" on you.

Currently however; I'm cross posting on the odd occasion, so Eyeem users get to see my original shots without the crop. I do like the fact that I don't need to consider the square format as part of the editing process, but I do find the way EyeEm organises its feeds a bit overwhelming, will revisit for a few days and see what eventuates.

I tried Instagram but it's a bit limiting, the current favourite is Tadaa. The filters and editting features are far more comprehensive while not offering the full range of Photoforge or Snapseed say.

That said, most shots tend to enter a few different apps anyway so no big deal there. Tadaa seems to offer a real community too and I think is the most popular sharing site in a few parts of the world.

I tried EyeEm but wasn't impressed. I used EyeEm as an alternative to Instagram I use the Android platform and found it to be a good app.

It works pretty well with my camera apps yes, I have a few. Now that it's on Android, I've also used Instagram; mainly because I have friends and loved ones on their community.

Right now, it's pretty much neck and neck. I haven't tried EyeEm or tadaa tadaa isn't available for Android anyway. I used Instagram for a couple of months, and now I've pretty much switched to Streamzoo.

Streamzoo beats Instagram in just about every way except for the size of the established community. Or unless you need to upload to FourSquare, which Instagram can do and Streamzoo can't.

Personally, I think Streamzoo's little game of points and badges and stuff is silly, but I simply ignore it. I'm sure that there are people who do like the game.

If you need "the original," then Instagram it is — nothing wrong with it. Otherwise, I recommend taking a peek at Streamzoo.

More isn't always better. When I've used the other apps I find myself going through the tons of options they have and it taking me MUCH longer to post the photo.

That's not saying EyeEm or the others are bad, I do like them! For me personally it's HOW I post photos with my phone.

I'm usually doing something that I want to share quickly to Twitter and Facebook and Instagram is the easiest way for me to do it.

No Nikon camera we've tested to date balances stills and video capture as well as the Nikon Z7. Though autofocus is less reliable than the D, Nikon's first full-frame mirrorless gets enough right to earn our recommendation.

Nikon's Coolpix P has moved the zoom needle from 'absurd' to 'ludicrous,' with an equivalent focal length of mm. While it's great for lunar and still wildlife photography, we found that it's not suited for much else.

If you're interested in stills and video, though, it's knockout. The Nikon Z7 is slated as a mirrorless equivalent to the D, but it can't subject track with the same reliability as its DSLR counterpart.

AF performance is otherwise good, except in low light where hunting can lead to missed shots. We're well underway putting it through our range of standard tests — take a look at how it compares to the competition and our thoughts on using it so far.

These entry level cameras should be easy to use, offer good image quality and easily connect with a smartphone for sharing.

Whether you've grown tired of what came with your DSLR, or want to start photographing different subjects, a new lens is probably in order.

We've selected our favorite lenses for Sony mirrorlses cameras in several categories to make your decisions easier.

The Nikon Z6 is the lower-resolution, faster sibling to the Z7, and has already shown impressive results in our preliminary testing. Take a look at how it performs outside of the studio.

A new software update allows users of the Rylo camera to squeeze more resolution out of the camera's degree footage. Photopea is a free Photoshop alternative that works directly in the browser and offers advanced features including spot removal, clone tool, layers, filters, and masks.

Since publishing our full review, we've continued shooting with the Fujifilm X-T3 here and there — sometimes on assignment, and sometimes because we just like it so darn much.

Our sample gallery has been updated with fresh images. We've updated our camera buying guides, and the Fujifilm X-T3 was selected as a top choice in three different categories.

Benro has launched a new 3-axis gimbal that has a convertible handle that can be used in upright and carry configurations.

Flickr has announced that it will not delete images from its Creative Commons or Flickr Commons collections and is working hand-in-hand with institutions and non-profits to "keep these photos safe and available for the world to view and enjoy.

The lens is consistent across the frame and the sensor looks good but, like the Z7, the PDAF stripes aren't perfectly corrected so can occasionally become visible.

NASA has shared the first 8K footage filmed from outer space. In addition to streaming on YouTube, you can also download the full-res footage to your computer.

Irix has opened up pre-orders for its mm F2. Cinemartin has launched three new 8K global shutter video cameras with Raw shooting modes and custom code support.

Leica has announced the Leica Q-P, a humble version of its Leica Q camera that it calls "an artful statement of understatement.

If you're thinking of adding to your lens collection, these guides may be just what you're looking for. Fotolia sent out an email notifying users that, beginning November , they will no longer be able to access their Fotolia accounts and will instead need to transition to Adobe stock or another stock photography service.

Filmmaker Jimmy Chin has worked all over the world, in some of the most remote places on earth. With tons of resolution and dynamic range, the Nikon Z7 is a great camera for shooting landscapes.

But what about semi-pro wrestling? We spent an evening with the Z7 at DEFY Wrestling, which offered plenty of peak action and tricky lighting - see the results in our updated sample gallery.

Not everybody wants or needs a full frame sensor, but that doesn't mean you have to give up pro-level performance on your camera.

ONDU has opened a Kickstarter campaign for its latest collection of pinhole cameras, a third-generation series that consists of more than 19 models across , , medium format, and large format varieties.

Luminar has received an update with an all new AI-powered tool for bringing more life into the skies of your photos with a single slider.

Sigma has announced the prices for three of the lenses it announced at the Photokina trade show in September. Photographer Thomas Hawk explains why he believes Flickr's move to limit users to 1, on free accounts is the right move.

It's big, heavy, expensive and it gave us a headache. Red's Hydrogen One is an interesting concept but its main selling point — capturing and displaying 3D content — completely misses the mark.

You can also swipe past this autosuggestion to add your own tags, such as "coffee cup. This tagging is a key differentiator with Instagram, which offers twitter-style hashtags, but doesn't make them a part of every photo.

Still, I was able to find nearly 5 million photos of coffee on Instagram. Sharing Once your shot is all filtered, bordered, tagged and located, you're ready to upload, via five transparent buttons along the bottom of the screen.

Choices include Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, and Foursquare—all readily identifiable from their logos. Tapping any of these for the first time brings up a login screen for the chosen service.
